If you have any questions about our practice approach, booking process and requirements, please contact us.
You can either book directly online or we are able to schedule an appointment based on your preferred contact method. You will be required to provide basic contact and demographic information, in addition to credit card/payment method details. Charges will only be applied at the time of your appointment.
To make the most of your initial session, you will be sent a request for additional information once you schedule your first consultation. This will include additional personal details and an initial screening questionnaire.
Your first session is dedicated to an assessment, where you and the psychologist will establish a working relationship, explore relevant history, current circumstances and your goals. A treatment plan will be established and subsequent session will focus on the psychological interventions needed to achieve your treatment goals.
For additional information on cost and funding options, read here. If you need support and ready to work together, contact us today.
Telehealth - Video Consultation
Telehealth is an option to have your psychological support delivered through a phone call or video call using a secure video platform.
This can be a beneficial alternative to face to face appointments for people limited on time, have issues with transport or struggle to leave the home. We offer online/telehealth psychology sessions across Australia.
The same session rate, rebate options and cancelation policies apply as per our in clinic sessions.
Tips to prepare for telehealth consultation
Get comfortable & have a drink of tea, coffee or water on hand.
Find a private space where you are able to speak freely.
Ensure your device is fully charged & preferably has a functional webcam.
Consider using headphones to improve audio quality & improve privacy.
Test your internet connection before the session.
Limit distractions by closing any other apps & browsers.
Have your phone near by in the event of technical issues online.
Group based therapy
Depending on need, we can offer in person or online psychoeducation and therapeutic groups. Including but not limited to Dialectical Behaviour Skills, Mindfulness and Wellbeing programs.
Group based therapy can offer an opportunity to share and connect with others and can be a more cost effective treatment option.
